Continuing education in the combined realms of patient advocacy and birth work can profoundly impact the care you provide, and ultimately, your patients’ satisfaction and outcomes.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There is a myriad of research that demonstrates a humanized approach to patient inclusion in care and decision-making are central not only to patient satisfaction in birth, but may also contribute to a reduction in negatively-perceived birth experiences. Additionally, unaddressed fear of pain in labor can negatively impact obstetrical and psychological outcomes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
